Character development

The character's development began with a search for a distinct visual style. Initially, I prepared two base concepts, later adding a third that became the final version.
My early inspiration came from Lara Croft, but I eventually reconsidered the color palette. To ensure the character remained highly visible, I drew from the aesthetics of signal colors—specifically road signs and safety vests. This led to a palette of vibrant yellow and terracotta, balanced with a light blue-grey undertone.
The evolution of the character also reshaped her appearance. While the early drafts featured brunette and redhead variations, the final concept centered on the idea of a "beam of light piercing through the darkness." I changed her hair to a golden wheat hue while keeping her original eye color to create a striking contrast. This resulted in a harmonious blend between her physical features and her outfit.
